As the first campers begin arriving for the summer season, the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima is releasing its 2025–2026 annual reports. They paint a picture of a year marked by growth, the consolidation of its services, and an ever-increasing impact on the children, adults, and families it supports.
The results show that all of Fatima’s activities are moving in the same direction. The efforts made over the past two years to strengthen the organization’s operational and financial foundations are now bearing fruit, allowing the organization to look to the future with confidence. Through its three main areas of activity—specialized services for people with special needs, Plein air Fatima, and the Fondation Paul-Leboeuf —the organization continues to grow while remaining true to its mission of inclusion, well-being, and sharing.
Rapidly Growing Specialized Services
Services for children and adults with special needs continue to expand. The summer camp, weekend respite stays, the Arc-en-ciel program, and group accommodations saw a 13% increase in the number of campers and a total of 4,744 camp and respite days over the course of the year. Behind these figures are 745 campers and 627 families who were able to benefit from tailored services that promote well-being, independence, and inclusion.
Plein air Fatima is reaching more and more people
Plein air Fatima continues to grow as well. The day camp, group programs, nature classes, lodging, and outdoor activities offered throughout the year totaled 24,148 activity days, an increase of about 15% compared to the previous year. The day camp alone accounts for nearly half of this attendance, confirming its important role in the community.
A Foundation That Generates Growing Benefits
Thanks to the success of the 9th edition of “Mille et une huîtres” and the generosity of its donors, the Fondation Paul-Leboeuf donated $209,784 to the Notre-Dame-de-Fatima Center to support its services and bring promising projects to fruition that directly enhance the campers’ experience.
Beyond the numbers, this year confirms the strength of the model developed by Fatima: growing specialized services, outdoor activities that reach an ever-wider audience, a dedicated Foundation, and an organization that continues to innovate to meet the needs of its community.
“This year confirms that the choices we’ve made over the past few years were the right ones. We’ve strengthened our organization while continuing to expand our impact on the individuals and families we support. This is a solid foundation on which to build Fatima’s future,” said Steven Grenier, Executive Director.
