Summer Camp
From June to August, the Notre-Dame-de-Fatima Centre offers specialized, immersive summer camps. These adapted, authentic, and inclusive stays are designed for participants ages 4 and up living with a hearing impairment, a language disorder, an intellectual disability, an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or multiple disabilities, and who require a 1:4, 1:2, or 1:1 support ratio.
This is the ultimate camp experience, combining play, discovery, and friendship. Our programming is varied, structured, and safe, and is designed to support the overall development of the children, teens, and adults we welcome.
Registration for summer opens in February.

Registration Process
Before reserving a spot for your child, a file creation process and a needs assessment meeting are required. These steps determine the appropriate support ratio based on each camper’s needs.
We strongly recommend beginning the process a few months before the registration period opens. A member of our team will guide you through each step.
If you have questions, Contact us by email or by phone at 514 453-7600 ext. 234
Submitting a New Application
For any new registration in our adapted services (summer camp or weekend respite), several administrative steps are required.
Please prepare and email the following documents to inscription@mon-camp.ca :
- Registration form
- Health form
- Recent photo of the camper
Once we receive these documents, our team will open your file and schedule the camper’s needs assessment meeting with the Assistant Director of Specialized Programs.
This evaluation meeting is essential to ensuring a successful stay. It allows you and your child to visit our facilities and ask all your questions about how summer camp and respite services work.
Important delay: The current wait time for an appointment is approximately 5 to 6 weeks. We encourage you to complete the documentation step quickly so you don’t miss your desired session dates.
Once the needs assessment is completed and the personalized support ratio is determined, your file will be ready. Your email will be added to our mailing list so you receive the program registration calendar as soon as it opens.
Spots fill up quickly, so early registration is very important.

The Notre-Dame-de-Fatima Centre is proudly certified by the Association des camps du Québec (ACQ), which guarantees compliance with the highest standards of quality and safety.
Our counsellors and support staff complete over 60 hours of training before the season begins. Their energy, kindness, and commitment are central to our mission — they truly make the difference for our campers and their families.
Training includes the DAFA certification (Diplôme d’aptitude aux fonctions d’animateur), as well as specialized training specific to our participant population, intervention strategies, and the operation of the summer camp.
During the needs assessment meeting, we review possible allergies, dietary restrictions, and food sensitivities. This information is added to the camper’s file and shared with the kitchen team to ensure it is respected.
The needs assessment also allows us to discuss any required sleep accommodations and clarify details related to medication administration.
All our outdoor activity stations — including climbing, archery, and watercraft — are accessible to campers.
We accompany and encourage each camper to help them succeed in activities, while respecting their motor abilities and comfort level.
Activities: hebertism course, giant foosball, swings and play structures, large outdoor spaces, campfire area, basketball court, water activities, archery, climbing, beach volleyball, dek hockey, multipurpose rooms, sports and game equipment.
