Day Camp Parent’s Guide
Thank you for choosing Centre Plein Air Fatima day camp ! We strive to make your child’s summer holiday experience unforgettable ! Here is some additional information.
ADMINISTRATION OFFICES

Welcome aera
Arrival | 8:45 to 9:00 am
If your child is not registered for daycare,you must arrive between 8:45 and 9 am. At this time, you come with your child tothe gazebo.
Departure | 3:30 to 3:45pm
Departure is at 3:30 pm. Upon you rarrival, you will have to go to the reception gazebo to validate your identity using an proof of identity or your password. Make sure the names of authorized persons are up to date in the child’s Amilia profile before the start of summer.
Do not forget to respect the speed of 5 km/h in the parking lot, you are surrounded.

Daycare services
Please note our opening hours for our daycare services: morning 7:00 to 8:45 am and afternoon 3:45 to 6:00 pm. Due to security and sanitary measures, we must fix a quota forour daycare services. Please make sure to verify if there is still availability before leaving your child the daycare in the morning or at night.
Late fee
Any delay in picking up your child at the end of the day will result in a $5.00 fee for every 15 minutes late. These fees will be automatically charged to your Amilia account. Any early arrival or your child in the morning, if he is not registered for daycare, will result in a fee of $5.00 per 15 minute period. These fees willbe automatically charged to your Amilia account.
DEPARTURES AND ARRIVALS outside REGULAR HOURS
For all departures and arrivals outside the hours mentioned above, you must contact the reception of Centre Plein Air Fatima by telephone 514 453-7600 # 0 from the parking lot of the Ruche (lower area). At this time, we will ask an assistant coordinator to bring your child to the car. Please plan for a waiting period of approximately 15 minutes for your child to arrive at the car during pickup.
BACKPACK
We ask you that you limit to the strict minimum the items in your child’s backpack. All toys, card games, electronic items from home are forbidden. The exchange of equipment between campers is not permitted.
Items to bring to camp every daywell identified with camper’s name :
- Water bottle MANDATORY
- Lunch box (ice pack)
- Sunscreen (ideally a spray)
- 1-2 snacks (even if you take the meal service)
- Swimsuit and towel
- Raincoat (if rain)
- Hat / cap
- Mosquito repellent
Bottle
It is important to provide a refillable water bottle as the water fountains will only be accessible forfilling the bottles. If your child does not have his/her water bottle in the morning, we will give them a reusable water bottle and a $10 fee will automatically be charged to your Amilia account without further notice.
Lunch box
It is important to preserve the foods in lunch boxes. The CPAF camp is not able to provide a refrigerated area for the lunch boxes. Monitors will make sure that backpacks and lunch boxes will be in the shades during the day. You can also benefit from our cold lunch services. You must register at least 24h in advance, to see our menu go to our website.
Swimming pool
For the day camp, there is swimming almost every day. At the start of each week, each camper’s swimming level is assessed by our pool lifeguards. The result is noted in his/her file and the instructor always has access to it. The camper will therefore do a swimming test in the water and the be evaluated for 3 different swimming levels :
1-Life jacket (PFD) compulsory at all times
2-PFD in the hollow water only or
3-No PFDWe provide all PFDs for the day campchildren, so you do not have toprovide this item
ATTENDANCE POLICY
At daycare, attendance is monitored at the daycare welcome area.The monitors take attendance regularly during the day in different ways.Please note that Fatima takes charge of the children when they arrive on site.We are not responsible for children’s safety outside our site before and afterthe camp day (on foot or by bike).
EXTENDED ABSENCE
If your child is absent for more than one day, we ask that you notify us by calling 514 453‐7600 poste 0.
Additions/modifications
Online registration deadline: Thursday before noon, before the coming week. In case of cancellation before the service is provided, an administration fee of $20 per child per week will be retained. No refund after the beginning of service. In case of sickness or accident, we will do a pro rata refund (doctor’s paper mandatory).
t-shirt
Orders will be made according to the sizes indicated in the child’s Amilia profile, which you completed during registration. The T-shirt is not necessarily given to the children on Monday, but we try to do it quickly.
Weekly newsletter
On the Friday before the week of camp, you will receive by email “L’Écho des campeurs.”This newsletter gives you information concerning the activities for the upcoming weekand all the important information about the day camp.
