Fatima Welcomes France Pomminville as Director of Philanthropic Development and Funding

The Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima is proud to announce the appointment of France Pomminville as its new Director of Philanthropic Development and Funding. This collaboration represents a natural fit between a respected professional recognized for her expertise and an organization that has been deeply rooted in its community and enjoyed an outstanding reputation for nearly 80 years.

Holding a Master of Business Administration (MBA), France Pomminville brings extensive experience in communications and community development. She notably served as Executive Director of the Maison de la Famille Vaudreuil-Soulanges, where she contributed to the organization’s growth and visibility by developing impactful, community-driven initiatives that benefited families throughout the region.

Big Ambitions Ahead

France’s arrival comes at a pivotal moment in the Centre’s history. The organization is embarking on major infrastructure modernization and compliance projects. Over the next five years, investments totaling more than $3 million will not only ensure safer and more accessible facilities but will also support the expansion of activities and programs designed for individuals with special needs.

To support these ambitious goals, a major fundraising campaign will be launched, bringing together the entire community.

In this context, France Pomminville will be responsible for structuring and expanding the Centre’s philanthropic efforts, mobilizing partners and donors around an ambitious vision for Fatima’s future.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima, an organization that is deeply rooted in the region. Its profoundly human and inclusive mission resonates strongly with my values. I feel privileged to continue supporting families, contribute to the Centre’s development, and take part in meaningful projects that will ensure its sustainability and growth for generations to come,” said France Pomminville, who will officially begin her role on June 8.

The well-established Mille et une huîtres fundraising event, which will celebrate its 10th edition in 2026, continues to enjoy tremendous success and reflects the community’s strong commitment to the Centre’s mission. With the addition of a Director of Philanthropic Development and Funding, Fatima is taking its fundraising efforts to the next level. The initiatives of the Paul-Leboeuf Foundation will continue to grow, providing long-term support for the development and quality of services offered to children and adults with special needs.

“France’s arrival is a tremendous asset to our organization. Her expertise, vision, and ability to bring people together inject new energy into our organization at a critical stage of our development. We are launching major projects, and her contribution will be instrumental in helping us achieve the next phase of our growth,” said Steven Grenier, Executive Director of the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima and the Paul-Leboeuf Foundation.

A new momentum. A clear vision. And one shared ambition: to go further together and make a lasting difference in the lives of campers with special needs and their families.
