A Year of Growth and Impact for Fatima

It is with great pride that the Fatima organizations—the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima, the Centre Plein Air Fatima, and the Paul-Leboeuf Foundation—present a positive 2024–2025 report, marked by a significant increase in attendance and an expanded reach of their services within the community.

Staying true to its mission of inclusion, the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima delivered 4,903 camp days through its respite services, residential camp, Rainbow Program within the day camp, and specialized accommodations. These services are intended for children and adults living with hearing, speech, or intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and multiple disabilities. This represents a 7% increase in the number of campers compared to the previous year, confirming the growing importance of these services for many families.

An Essential Haven of Peace

“The Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima is more than ever a pillar for families living with a loved one who has special needs. Our services allow parents and caregivers to take a break and regain their energy, while campers enjoy fun experiences that support their personal growth,” emphasizes Steven Grenier, Executive Director of the Fatima organizations.

This mission, as essential as it is ambitious, remains financially fragile. The Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima could not continue its operations without the indispensable support of the Paul-Leboeuf Foundation and its generous donors. This support helps keep services accessible, ensures the safety of infrastructure, modernizes facilities, and enables the development of adapted projects.

Connecting with Nature

The Centre Plein Air Fatima, a non-profit social economy organization, is mandated to foster a connection with nature, encourage healthy lifestyles, and promote personal challenge through outdoor activities accessible to all. The past year saw strong participation, with nearly 8,500 people welcomed through the day camp, nature classes, group accommodations, corporate packages, and seasonal activities.

Thank You to Our Team Members!

“This positive report from the Fatima organizations is the result of the outstanding work of our permanent and seasonal teams, whose commitment, creativity, and professionalism make a difference every day. They make me incredibly proud. Thanks to them, we are able to offer human, accessible, and memorable experiences,” highlights Steven Grenier.

The results of this past year reflect a strong foundation within the community and a sustained commitment to inclusion, solidarity, and well-being. More than ever, the Fatima organizations remain dedicated to serving people with special needs, families, and youth, while contributing to a more just, healthier, and more human future.
