What are the maximum group capacities for day outings or overnight stays?
    Icon – Arrow

Group capacity varies depending on the season and the type of activity you’re planning. In spring, we can welcome up to 200 participants for a nature class, and up to 150 in winter for autonomous activities without facilitation. For overnight stays, our site can comfortably host up to 80 students and teachers. And if your group falls slightly outside these parameters, no worries — we’re always happy to find creative solutions so everyone can enjoy the Fatima experience!

    Are your facilities safe?
    Icon – Arrow

Yes! Safety is a top priority at the Notre-Dame-de-Fatima Centre. As a certified camp of the Association des camps du Québec (ACQ), we uphold rigorous standards for maintenance and safety. Buildings, activity sites, and equipment are inspected before each season and monitored throughout the year. A dedicated staff member ensures follow-up on all inspections and repairs. All equipment meets age-appropriate requirements and is kept in top condition. You can fully enjoy your stay—with complete peace of mind.

How can I reserve a date for my group, and how far in advance should we plan a nature class?
    Icon – Arrow

We look forward to welcoming your group! Since some periods—especially spring—are extremely popular for schools, early planning is recommended. Submit your preferred dates using our online reservation form (note: completing the form does not guarantee availability). Our team will contact you to confirm. If you’d prefer to speak with someone, call 514-453-7600, ext. 237—we’ll be happy to guide you.

    Is cafeteria service available?
    Icon – Arrow

For Classic packages, students and teachers must bring a cold lunch. The cafeteria is available only when a meal is included in your package—for example, dinner during an extended day. This ensures a complete, reliable service for groups that select this option.

What clothing should students wear for a nature class?
    Icon – Arrow

Dress for all weather conditions! Since most activities take place outdoors, it’s important to be prepared for cold, wind, or sunshine. If there is heavy rain, thunder, or lightning, no problem—we always have an indoor program ready.

Are the cabins and meeting rooms air-conditioned?
    Icon – Arrow

Yes. Our cabins and meeting rooms are air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter to ensure comfort for all campers and guests.
