The Mille et une huîtres event is celebrating its 10th anniversary

The Fondation Paul-Leboeuf is proud to announce the 10th edition of Mille et une huîtres, which will take place on November 7, 2026, at the École secondaire du Chêne-Bleu. For the past ten years, this event has brought together hundreds of guests, partners, volunteers, and philanthropists united by a common mission: to enable children and adults with special needs at the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima to enjoy adapted, inclusive, and accessible camp experiences.

This anniversary edition marks an important milestone in the Foundation’s history. To date, more than $1 million has been raised, making it possible to provide 11,385 camp days to children with special needs in the Arc-en-ciel program, support thousands of families, and continuously improve the services offered at the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima.

“Ten years ago, no one could have imagined that Mille et une huîtres would become such a unifying event. This success belongs to an entire community that chooses, year after year, to make a difference. Just last year, the Center welcomed 745 campers with special needs and provided support to 627 families through its various camp, respite, and specialized support programs,” said Jessica Goyer, president of the Fondation Paul-Leboeuf.

AN INVESTMENT IN THE FUTURE

Over the next year, the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima will undertake major renovations to modernize its facilities and better meet the needs of its clients. This extensive project, estimated at nearly $3 million, will ensure the site’s long-term viability and provide infrastructure that is increasingly safe, accessible, and adapted to our clients’ needs.

“For the past ten years, Mille et une huîtres has allowed us to dream bigger. Needs are evolving, more and more families are turning to our services, and our facilities must keep pace with this reality. This 10th edition is a celebration, but it’s also an investment in the future. Together, we are building an environment where everyone can fully enjoy the camp experience, regardless of their abilities,” says Steven Grenier, Executive Director of the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima and the Fondation Paul-Leboeuf.

A HIGHLY ANTICIPATED EVENING

True to its reputation, Mille et une huîtres will host a unique gastronomic evening bringing together more than 350 guests, thanks to the support of its official sponsor, the Ville de Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot, and its major partner, Sanivac. Oyster tasting stations, a refined meal, a silent auction, surprises, and a festive atmosphere will be on hand to delight guests.
