Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima Receives the “Coup de cœur” Award at the Nomina Gala
The Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima is proud to announce that it received the Coup de cœur Award at the Loisir et Sport Montérégie Nomina Gala, held on June 11. This distinction recognizes the inspiring and unifying nature of its project, Innovating Through Play: Installations That Last and Inspire, which places play at the heart of the inclusive experience offered to participants.
Presented as part of an annual event celebrating outstanding recreation and sport initiatives throughout the Montérégie region, this award highlights the Centre’s commitment to doing things differently by creating spaces where play becomes a powerful catalyst for participation, connection, and shared enjoyment.
At the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima, innovation is reflected above all in projects that enable more children and adults to take part in meaningful experiences, challenge themselves, build relationships, and create lasting memories together.
“Play has an extraordinary power: it naturally brings people together, regardless of their age, abilities, or background. When we create spaces where everyone can participate fully, we foster inclusion, meaningful connections, and self-confidence. This vision guides our projects and gives this recognition its true significance,” said Guillaume Roberge, Director of Operations.
The Centre would like to sincerely thank the Paul-Leboeuf Foundation as well as its valued financial partners who contributed to the realization of these inclusive installations: the Mirella and Lino Saputo Foundation, the Fondation des Ressources Alternatives du Sud-Ouest, the Fondation Maison Odette, Promutuel Assurance, the Fondation des Sourds du Québec, and the Quebec Ministry of Education.
“This recognition belongs to our entire team, whose passion drives them to create inclusive and welcoming experiences. It encourages us to continue our efforts so that every person can fully enjoy the outdoors, recreation, and the simple joy of play,” said Steven Grenier, Executive Director.
