Appointed New Executive Director of the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima
Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot, March 20, 2024 – Following the departure of current Executive Director Mr. Nelson Beauchamp, who has led the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima since 2012, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Steven Grenier as Executive Director of the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima, effective April 1, 2024.
“Nelson has accomplished great things for the Centre over the past twelve years, so it was important for us to find a successor to continue promoting the Centre and shaping a vision for the next chapter of Fatima. Steven was a natural choice for us, as he already plays an active role within our teams in the greater Fatima family. Our partners and all our clients will continue to benefit from his energy and passion for the Centre,” said Mr. Frédéric Farmer, Chair of the Selection Committee.
A Long Journey at Fatima
Steven Grenier is recognized within the community for his passion and unwavering dedication to Fatima over many years. In fact, he has been involved with the organization since 1994, gaining experience in nearly every aspect of the Centre—except, of course, being a camper himself.
Having worked in the camp industry in Québec and across Canada for more than 30 years, and possessing an innate sense for program and business development, he is well-positioned to continue contributing to the growth of the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima. Over the years, he has held roles in coordination and management across sales, training, and customer service, and more recently in business development and as Executive Director of the Foundation supporting the Centre. These experiences have shaped him into the leader he is today and will enable him to achieve the objectives set by the Board of Directors. Deeply committed to his community, he will continue to carry the mission forward through his various engagements.
“My goal is to mobilize everyone involved, directly or indirectly, around our mission so we can help our campers with special needs and provide greater support to the families who rely on our services,” said Steven Grenier, Executive Director of the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima. He can be reached at sgrenier@mon-camp.ca.
